About The Clinic
Cost: $500, 2-day Course
Our PPG1 & PPG2 training course should only be the beginning of your flying career. Expand your knowledge, gain additional confidence in your skillset and equipment, learn to launch & land from advanced LZ’s with this 2-day PPG3 skills clinic.
What you’ll learn:
Test Prep - Study for, take and pass the USPPA PPG3 test
Advanced Ground Handling - Nil-wind, high wind, crosswind & steering while running, taxi, etc (as weather permits)
Launch Tune-up - Crosswind launches, nil-wind launches, power-forward and partial-power-forward launches, pressure timing, video review and more
Precision Landing - Advanced power-on and precise power-off landings from various altitudes
Descent Techniques - Big ears, controlled spiral dives, b-line stall simulated training
Reserve parachute - Simulator based reserve throw, mini-clinic
In-Flight Control - Overcome oscillations, practice coordinated linked turns, accelerated flight, low flight, foot drags, avoiding surges in pitch exiting steep turns and more

USPPA PPG3 rating
Prerequisites
90 PPG flights. It is common to need 200 or more flights before attaining PPG 3 skill levels.
30 flying days
Has had USPPA PPG2 rating or equivalent for at least 120 days
20 solo airtime hours

Our PPG3 clinics are flown out of the same great locations as our beginner paramotor training in La Grande, OR.
